Good alternative is the Cuckoo's Nest, the Web and recently the Dirty Dicks (open from 16.00). It is much cheaper (only one drink of 2.30) and you see the same people!

just a warning to all you guys visiting Amsterdam and thinking of going to Drakes - don't! Dirty, smelly, smokey. Total waste of time and money. There are far better places.

Guys you can file an offical complain about the smoking in drakes (against the law) using the state website formdesk.minlnv.nl/kcdv/Warenklachten_vragen_formulier_v4?test=true perhaps if enough complain something will be done...

This place is typical for Amsterdam these days, dirty, owner who cares little about customers, militant chain smoker ugly regulars who hang around all day and follow you like stalkers. Dirty, smelly, broken cabins, broken video screens.Best avoided.. You have been warned

unclean and overpriced and run by an owner who thinks he can treats his staff as slaves by putting them on a zero hours contract and not pay them a good wage.

My vist at Drakes was very exciting. Nice and sexy guys and very hot movies. Maybe they must create a separate smokingroom.

This place closes used to close at midnight, now around 22.00. Aleays the same crowd ,no fresh meat. The blond ugly owner is there most of the times to suck cock, what a shame. No cleaning during the day

Four to five stars for fun but only 1 to 2 stars for its general cleanliness & its smoking policy so this place only gets 3 stars altogether! Not many people smoke anymore anywhere and it is kind of unfair to expect the non-smokers (the majority) to put up with the smokers (the minority) in this relatively small and enclosed place. So if the management will kindly consider banning smoking in this place altogether before too long, all the non-smokers who come here will be absolutely pleased, I am sure. Also, sending in a team of cleaners to clean up this place up thoroughly and properly after each business day will also be most appreciated by everyone who comes here, especially by the regular customers, I am sure. Thank you.

best veel gasten en met ticket kan je hele dag in en uit.. was er eerst en alleen (sorry) oudere kereles..dus weer weggegaan uurtje later bingo ook jongeren...en ben door gast van 23 gepijpt. Erg geil, ik zal er vaker komen. Alleen hokjes mogen vaker schoongemaakt worden en roken in nadeel..

NO star but this place i love it so much.is one of the best place i have had some dicks,but one thing i would like to be better is, it should be clean chears are dirty nasty with sperms pepers every where,they should make more efort to advertise this place ,because it is in the center of town and sometimes is empty no many guys knows hier,they are coming old and ugly guys some look like drug adicts junkis hungry for dick,it is also smelling all over smoking when you get out ur cloths stinking with sigaret and mariuna ,and sometimes you can see some of the stufs hanging around looking for dicks and geting free bear from the machine like stilling the boss,am also with you guys this place must be change and they should advertise more so that every guys should kno upstair is cruising becouse sometimes is empty no body and if you look from strais down many people warking outside,sometimes i ask my self mebe alot of guys looking for places like this but they dont kno any thing about it.

When will the management finally ban smoking in this place (for the benefit and comfort of the many non-smokers who come here)? Otherwise this place is OK. But the cleanliness and the overall quality of the videos being played could still be improved though.
